Mother's Day is just over. The supposedly date is 13th of May.. This year is a little more special for my Mum. Cos I got her surprises for both her birthday and Mothers'day!
For your information, her birthday just passed! Cos it's on 27th of April (which is damn recent) and I spent $110 in total just for her. Hahahaha! Nevermind lah, I don't feel the pinch cos I used NETS. That is the reason why, I think I should never ever apply for any credit cards even in the future. Cos we certainly don't feel the pinch when we just keep flashing our cards out to purchase goods. LOL.
Back to the topic, I certainly felt that it's only right for us to "pamper" our mums on this very special day (both birthdays and Mothers' day) cos of the things they silently do for us?
Things that we took for granted. Things that other people find it a chore to do. Especially for lazy bone me. For the allowance I receive every week. For many other things but most importantly, FOR GIVING BIRTH TO ME! :)
Pictures pictures! [On her birthday]
My Dad and Sis bought her a cake from emicakes. It is damn nice and choco-y. The chocolate simply melts in your mouth as you eat it. I guess that's the difference between neighbourhood cake shop and those more branded ones. But I think ice cream cake is still the best!
Cutting of cake! Yay-ness cos we were waiting to feast on the innocent looking cake. And get fat!!!
Oh yeah, I bought her a CR bag when I went shopping on that day with May at Century square Metro. Luckily for me, Metro was having their annul sale where items are on sale for about 20% off. So for a bag that cost over $110, I got it for $88. Quite a lucky number right? Hahaha! I like the colours also.
I bet you share the same sentiments as me after seeing this photo.

As for Mothers' day, I bought my mum roses!!! My first ever bought bouquet to her. Actually what triggered me to buy something for her this year is cos my sis went to bangkok. So it would be like no one is gonna celebrate for her. Kinda sad right? Sooooo..
Yay!!! ROSES. So pretty right. Prettily in pink. I loveeeee it so much. I think my mum too. She's like damn happy when she received it. =D
Don't believe me?
See, she's beaming.
But the sad thing is, she got to work on that day. So like cannot eat dinner together or something. Thus, my bro and me decided to go to her workplace at Bishan to find her. Hahah!
We ate like quite a bit of stuffs - hotplate clamshells in some awesome sauce, udon noodles, saba fish, hotplate egg with chicken and fishball noodles. Damn damn damn nice. I love the clamshells one especially!
Oh oh, my brother also bought her a flower on the way.
Don't really know the name of the flower but it certainly look the big version of daisy. Very pretty too. And isn't it like so sweet cos my pri 6 bro actually suggested getting a flower for my mum? I think my mum was the envy of their colleagues on that very day. :)
And not forgetting...
My self obsessed photo with the roses! Ahhhh.. I simply adore flowers. Although they are not as pretty as me. Just kidding.
Most importantly, I LOVE MY MUM!!! Hence, that ends my mothers' day entry. :)
