And so, after discussing on and on about going on an overseas trip again, Fronda, along with Timo and I decided to embark on a trip to bangkok. Life squirrels!! They were like real obedient. They didn't even try to flinch... and at first, I thought they were fake and I was shocked when the stall owner tried to place it onto my palm. They were so small. Really tempted to get them but unfortunately, sg won't allow it.
After about a 3 hours airplane flight, we finally reached Thailand! My first ever virgin trip to Thailand. Hahaha.
I WAS SO EXCITED. We reached at around 10am and found our hotel, citin pratunum. We chose citin praunum because..
1) It is obviously cheap as it is considered a budget hotel over there.
2) It is super darn new, meaning the hotel is sparkingly clean.
3) It is like near pratunum mall and most of the shopping centers are allocated there.
4) There is internet access everywhere, even inside the rooms. :D :D :D
We calculated and each person only paid like S$20 per night. Cheap or what? It is not just cheap. It is dirt cheap. LOL!
As we haven't got our room yet, we left our lugauge with the bellboy and went to the weekend market since that was the only day that was open (we went on a Sunday). However, the weather was freaking hot. I mean, Singapore is already hot and humid. Imagine two times of that there and sweat is like seriously rolling down your face, neck and it is super uncomfortable.
However, we managed to find the animal part of Chatuchak! Was damn happy luh. All the animals are like babies.
Bery bery cute.
There are like a lot of variety of animals there luh! Bunnies, hamsters, dogs, cats, squirrels and even porcupines?! At a really cheap price.
Turtles for sale, anyone?
Baby hamsters and other animals in their respective cages.
Other dogs that we saw includes my favourite dog, terriers, malteses, chihuahuas and many more. But all of them looks very fragile and weak cos they were all mostly new borns. Some were even smaller than the size of my hand luh!
After seeing through all the stalls, we finally gave up to the heat and decided to go back to pratunum mall to have our lunch.
Saw this in the cab. A lorry full of cows.
And we decided to have jap food there cos it was highly recommended. Indeed, the food was really worth the money and furthermore, it was really cheap relative to normal jap food prices.
Mine! It was such a large portion accompanied with miso soup, cha mushi and their soda water and the bill came up to only $230 baht, which was equavilent to S$10.
Fronda's share.
And we went back our hotel to sleep. LOL! Cos we hardly had any sleep the previous night. All the packing and stuffs drove us half crazy.
We then woke up slightly later, at around 7 plus. Fronda had unfortunately, a stomache going on for her and decided not to join Timo and I to patpong. Especially since she went there before already. We felt bad about it but Timo really want to see the tiger show we already planned beforehand to go that very night.
Got dressed up and ready to go!
Hehe. Meanwhile, camwhore a bit.
Love this photo. The angle make my nose and chin looked even sharper.
Timo and I hailed a cab, cost us about $4 to get there. We wanted to look for somewhere to have our dinner.
But we made a mistake. One advice to all is to NEVER FOLLOW ANYONE, INCLUDING TAXI UNCLES TO ANYWHERE FOR FOOD. Cos they will bring you to the most expensive restaurant where they get some incentives (commission?).
Oh wells, at least the food is confirm clean. And we ordered the must-have:
TOM YAM! Came in a steaming hot steamboat style.
It was unadmittedly good, although not very spicy (more of the sour side) and there were so much ingredients inside that we were full even by sharing just this.
Timo was very satisfied.
So was I. Although it was still freaking ex luh! Approximately 500 baht for this. About S$20. Nice Timo treated me to it.
And then, we went to shop! For cheap accessories and bargained till at least 1/2 the price. Was really satisfactory. We even went to see the local Tiger show that Timo kept pestering me about to see.
Okay luh, to be fair, I was also curious about it after seeing so many people discussing about it previously.
Below are some of the stunts I witnessed with my own eyes.Stunt 1: Bursting of balloons.
Performing girl sits down, and inserts a blowpipe into her vagina. She inserts a dart into the pipe.
Performing girl takes aim, and blows. The darts fly, and hit the balloon with a spectacular burst and proceeds to burst all the other balloons that were hang dangling on a thread.
Stunt 2: Opening of bottle caps.
Girl shakes beer bottle violently. She puts bottlecap near vagina, and before anyone knows what is happening, has managed to open the bottle.
Stunt 3: How much can your virgina store?
Girl started dancing near the pole and proceeded to pull something out of her virgina. Initially, it looks like a thread but on closer inspection, there were fluff of balls dangling and she seems to tug on the thread continuously for about 5m.
The most dangerous act that night was seeing a girl pulling out a string of shaving blades from her virgina. I mean, how can anyone bear to put something that sharp and dangerous into her private part? They must be so customed to placing such dangerous stuffs into their virgina everyday that whipping them in and out is like daily play. :/
On the other hand, we got very annoyed cos we got conned again. There was this man who claimed that we only had to pay 100 baht to watch it the entire night but in fact, the bill came up to 10 times more. However, in the end, we paid 1500 baht in total, which was like S$30+.
Quite lame cos the girls weren't even that pretty. Sigh, keep getting conned hur? Nonetheless, it was truly an eye opener for me to see so many naked girls doing such freak shows around for the first time. So I guessed it was worth the money luh.
