Hais.. Been quite stressed these few days. On and off. Off and on.
Firstly, it's about GP common test. I only came to know about it like around Tuesday or Wednesday. Then, I went like, "Whatttttttttt???!!?!!?!" Cos I previously thought that it was only after the June holidays then have the common test. My school is like super funny one lor. One day before holiday then have GP common test but all was good. At least now can focus on the four main subjects during June hols. Must catch up must catch up. Irene is so lagged behind!!!
So the test commences!
The compo was kinda okay. I did question 2, "To what extent has the exponential growth in science and technology not benefited all?" My stand was to a small extent. Hahah! Cos I believe that science and technology benefits most of us. IF not, we won't be able to chat online or even to blog this piece of entry for the rest of the world to see. :)
I'm quite contented with the stuffs I wrote lah. Hope can get better than what I get usually for class compo. A lot of people also did this question. Possibly cos it's the easiest out of the so damn damn damn difficult paper.
For e.g, there's these few questions:
1.) Injustice is the breeding ground of terrorism. To what extent do you agree?
3.) A sex education programme that preaches total abstinence is both idealistic and ineffective. Discuss.
4.) Viewing the human body as a commodity is unethical. Comment.
5.) Is patience still a valued virtue in today's fast-paced world?
6.) Are politicians placing undue emphasis on rewards for themselves rather than servicing the people?
and so on...
So so so so difficult lah! Unless you got A for arguing... If not, I doubt can write. Furthermore, our cher' taught us how to write science and technology qns. *beams*
But... I'm quite disappointed with my compre cos I didn't finish the AQ. Stupid me saw the wrong timing then I thought still got a lot of time OH nevermind! it's over. *shrugs*
Also, Odac LTC also met up with quite a few problems lah. Especially the water expedition portion.
Fucking hell, I want to complain about pasir ris sea sports club.
We went to pasir ris sea sports club more than a week ago and like tell them we want to book blah blah kayaks on 29th of May. Then, they say can but maybe cannot find trainers. They So okay, we went to find the trainers as they say they cannot find. We then call them again telling them that we found like 3-4 trainers without their help.
But they say cannot again. Cos..
1.) We didn't hand in the forms 7 days before the expedition days. Thus, their system cannot allow them to key in the information.
2.) 3 trainers ain't enough for a group of 60 + people cos it's supposed to be 1 trainer to 10 people.
I wanted to state that, we, the 3 people who went to the pasir ris sea sports club did not hear the receptionist or whoever informing us that we had to hand in the forms 7 days before and previously, when Yirui called, the person still tell her the latest to hand in was today and not 7 days before. WTF?
In addition, they said that one of their colleagues even headed down to Changi seasports club to look for trainers. Accepted, it may be true but how come we can find trainers when they can't? This got the trainers we found into trouble. Felt quite bad though. :(
Maybe the club felt that we should not like direct contact them but instead they contact them. But isn't it cos of their inefficiency that they cannot find trainers for us?
Hais.. don't know lah.
We then got Mr Nordin to call them this morning regarding the matter to their "BIG BOSS". Mr Nordin then call back saying that the person is very uncooperative and say that the club already tell us from the start that cannot already. WTF again!
My advice is... Never go there again.
Luckily, the problem for now is solved (not from pasir ris sea sports club). Hopefully everything will turn out fine.
